Financial Protection for Non-flight Based Packages

In accordance with ”The Package Travel Regulations 2018” all money paid to Go Russia by our passengers for their holidays are fully protected.
We guarantee total financial protection for the money you pay to us for your holiday. In the unlikely event of our insolvency, we expect our clients to travel as planned. Our trustees shall be liaising with suppliers to ensure that your holiday goes ahead unaffected. If for any reason this is not possible, they will be administering a claim for a refund of money that you had paid to us. Please make sure you follow the claims procedures detailed below.
 
YOUR FINANCIAL PROTECTION
With your booking confirmation, you will receive a financial protection certificate. With this certificate (issued by our trustee), you have proof that your reservation is financially protected and the following risks are covered:
  • Refund of deposits already paid.
  • Refund of the repatriation costs from the holiday location to the initially planned arrival destination.
All monies paid to us by customers for their travel packages are held in the United Kingdom by a trustee in a separate bank account for the consumer until you returned from your trip with Go Russia and the contract has been fully performed. These arrangements are only valid for passengers who book and pay directly with / to Go Russia. If you have booked and / or paid directly to a travel agent for a holiday with Go Russia, please request proof of how the booking is secured. There is no requirement for financial protection of day trips, and none is provided.

If you have booked a flight-inclusive package starting from the UK, you will be covered by ATOL, otherwise your money will be protected by this scheme.
 

VALIDITY

This protection scheme is valid worldwide regardless of your country of residence and remains valid after the United Kingdom has left the EU.
 
CLAIMS PROCEDURE
Once you make payment for your holiday you will be emailed a payment receipt together with your financial protection confirmation issued by our trustees. The certificate will display your reservation details as well as contact information of our trustees. 

In order to deal promptly with any claim hereunder, it is essential that you retain all bills, receipts and other documents relating to your travel arrangements. Claims must be submitted within six months of date of insolvency. Our trustees cannot consider or pay claims received after this date.
