A monument to Samuil Marshak is to be installed in the historical centre of Moscow in honour of the writer’s 130th birthday anniversary.
Next year will be the Year of Samuel Marshak in Russia. He is the author of wonderful children’s books, including “Cat’s House”, “The Twelve months”, “Teremok” and others, as well as the brilliant translations of William Shakespeare, Robert Burns, Rudyard Kipling, Alexander Milne.
