Red Square, St. Basil`s & Lenin Mausoleum Guided Tour
Russia’s captivating capital will be our focus today. We begin with a drive through its boulevards and avenues for an orientation tour taking in Red Square, the Russian Orthodox cathedral of Christ the Saviour (view from outside) and the New Maiden Convent (view from outside) where the remains of many famous Russians are interred. The panoramic view from the Moscow State University enables us to appreciate the city’s geography, from Victory Park on Poklonnaya Hill to the Olympic Luzhniki stadium and of course, the distant golden domes of the Kremlin. We return to the centre for an in-depth guided tour of Red Square, where you will explore brightly-domed St. Basil's Cathedral. Correctly known as the Cathedral of the Intercession, its popular name associates it with a ragged prophet who foretold the Moscow fire of 1547. We’ll continue our sightseeing with a walk along the expansive facade of the GUM department store, pretty Kazan Cathedral and the Kremlin towers. No visit to Red Square can be complete without a stop at Lenin’s Mausoleum, the final resting place of the founder of the Soviet State. Seeing the embalmed body of this iconic figure will be a memorable part of your tour.

Local suburban train: Veliky Novgorod - St. Petersburg
St. Petersburg City Tour by Car
Our driver will meet you with a Go Russia sign board at the lobby of the hotel. You’ll transfer to the railway station where a local suburban train will take you to St Petersburg. Russia’s aristocratic former capital is as far removed from Moscow as another big city could get: elegant, calm and packed full of historic buildings and interesting museums in contrast to the modernity and energy of the Russian capital. The city’s many waterways earn it the moniker of the “Venice of the North”. You’ll tour its most unmissable sights: the Peter and Paul Fortress, St. Isaac's Cathedral, the Church of Christ's Resurrection (The Saviour of the Blood) and the famous cruiser Aurora whose cannon signalled the beginning of the Great Social Revolution more than 90 years ago on Lenin’s orders.

We are very happy to have served thousands of happy customers who travelled with us.
The transfer to and from the airport was exactly on time The guides were very knowledgeable and helpful and the itineraries well thought out. The hotel room, food and service were excellent.
It was great to be able to add extra days and yet still have transfers. All our guides were excellent.
We had a really lovely time in Russia. The Tour guides were excellent especially Elena in Moscow and Helen in St Petersburg. We did not know what to expect but Moscow was amazing and St Petersburg was wonderful. The Go Russia guides were very helpful from the time we arrived at the Airport until we left. The guide in Moscow was very good and waited until we got on to the correct carriage on the Midnight Express which was very helpful. We cannot praise Go Russia enough and will recommend to our friends.
The personal assistance given during the booking process was invaluable and resulted in my decision to book through the company. Each of the tour guides was extremely knowledgeable, helpful, able to answer any question threw at them, and each dealt well with situations that arose during the tours.
The tour guides, especially Tatiana in St Petersburg, were excellent. Everything was really well timed and organised. Information and instructions were clear. Support with obtaining visa was really good. Everything was paid for. There were no hidden extras.
The guides were very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. People very friendly and the tours well organised and informative.
