Three Capitals: Kiev - Moscow - St. Petersburg Package Tour 2008 (CB-09)

OVERVIEW

DETAILED ITINERARY

PRICE AND INCLUSIONS

We have designed this amazing tour to introduce you to the past and present capitals of Russia and the Ukraine, the beautiful cities of Moscow, St. Petersburg and Kiev. It is in Kiev, an ancient city on the bank of the beautiful Dnepr River, that the Russian people were introduced to Christianity more than a thousand years ago. The city is still considered a sacred place for all Orthodox Christians in Russia and the Ukraine. From Kiev you move to magnificent Moscow, the present capital of Russia, its business and cultural centre. Here, in the third largest city in Europe, you’ll be struck by the unique architectural style, from the stunning Kremlin and Red Square to the Stalin-era skyscrapers and the most beautiful underground in the world. Your journey will end in the elegant “museum city” of St. Petersburg, the former capital of Russia, founded by the rebel tsar Peter the Great. St. Petersburg is called the Northern Venice because of its canals and its beautiful architecture: numerous palaces, mansions, parks and statues. The collection of the Hermitage museum is comparable to only one museum in the world, – the famous Louvre in Paris.

This tour offers you the incredible experience of discovering the cultural and historic treasures of two countries in ten unforgettable days!

CUSTOMERS REVIEW
During the booking process, we were impressed with the personalised nature of Go Russia service and how reactive you were to our questions. I would not hesitate to recommend you to other travellers, for us you provided enough support whilst letting us also be independent whilst in Russia.

We had a fantastic time in Russia. Credit to you and your team / suppliers, the organisation of the holiday was spot on and everything was punctual and went smoothly.

Just a note to say how much I enjoyed the recent Three Capitals tour to Kiev (our guide Natasha, so helpful and enthusistic), Moscow (our guide Elena so generous and accomodating) and St Petersberg (with our expert guide Svetlana), and of course not forgetting the 2 day excursion to Sergiev-Posad, Suzdal and Vladimir (with our excellent guide Marina). Everything went like clockwork, with every expectation and assurance satisfied. Punctuality and quality of information was superb all the time. I was a little unsure about travel to states of the FSU, but any worry was quickly dispelled, and I cannot wait to return.
