This tour was designed for people who would like to experience a variety of winter activities within the magnificent settings of Lake Baikal. You will gain some wonderful memories from both new and previously-attempted activities by this magical lake. During the tour you will enjoy exotic Siberian dog sledding and ice-fishing, as well as experience a challenging Trans-Baikal snowmobile adventure. We also give you the option of spending a couple of days at the best alpine resort in the Baikal region, where you can enjoy some cross-country and mountain skiing.

Day 1 Arrival in Moscow. Transfer to the hotel.
Day 2 Sightseeing tour around Moscow. Transfer to the airport to catch your flight to Irkutsk.
Day 3 Arrival in Irkutsk. Our guide will meet you at the airport. Transfer to hotel and breakfast. City tour around Irkutsk.
Day 4 Transfer to Listvyanka village stopping on the way at Museum of wooden architecture in Taltsy. Accommodation in a comfortable 3* hotel.
Day 5 Introductory course to dog sledding. First day of dog sledding starts with a 20 km-long trip. Return to Lystwanka Accommodation in a comfortable 3* hotel.
Day 6 Snowmobile trip across the frozen lake reaching the Western side of the lake. Overnight in comfortable log cabins.
Day 7 Ice-fishing in the morning. Overnight in comfortable log cabins.
Day 8 After breakfast drive to Sludyanka village. Visit to mineralogy museum. Dinner and overnight at homestay.
Day 9 Trip on legendary Circum Baikal train to travel from Sludyanka to Irkutsk. Upon arrival to The Port of Baikal transfer to Irkutsk. Check in hotel. Free time.
Day 10 Excursion to Ust-Ordinski Buryat autonomous region. Return to the hotel.
Day 11 Transfer to the airport to catch your flight to Moscow. Transfer from the local airport to the international airport for the flight home.

  • The wooden and stone Russian architecture monuments in Irkutsk, including historic Orthodox churches;
  • The open-air Museum of wooden architecture in Talzy which is located in a picturesque forest on the bank of Angara river, 47 km from Irkutsk and 23 km from Lake Baikal. It represents settlements of the local Baikal people - Evenks, Russians, Buryats - and gives an overview of the traditional life style in Siberia in the 17-19th centuries.
  • Dog-sledding, ice-fishing, snowmobile safari and mountain ski in the beautiful winter surroundings of Russian Siberia.
