Go Russia - Cycling to the Heart of Lake Baikal

Day 1	Arrival in Moscow. Transfer to the hotel and check in.
Day 2	Sightseeing tour around Moscow. Transfer to the airport and depart to Irkutsk.
Day 3	Arrival in Irkutsk. Transfer to local village Listvyanka with a stop at a sacred Shaman stone “obo” . Upon arrival to Listvyanka a guided tour of the Baikal Ecology Museum and a sightseeing tour of the village. Overnight in a guetshouse.
Day 4	In the early morning transfer by ferry to the Olkhon island. Overnight in wooden lodges or in ger camp.
Day 5	Cycling around Kyzhir village visiting famous Shaman Cliff. Overnight in wooden lodges or in ger camp. (Cycling distance – approx. 15km.)
Day 6	Cycling to northern part of Olkhon island stopping at Three Brothers cliff. Overnight in tents. (Cycling distance – approx. 35km.)
Day 7	Cycling to northernmost point of the island – Khoboi Cape. Overnight in wooden lodges or in ger camp. Meeting with local shaman. (Cycling distance – approx. 15km.)
Day 8	Cycling to one of the most scenic places on Olkhon Island, the Shara Nur lake and the Tashkiney valley, famous for its mineral spas. Overnight in wooden lodges or ger camp. Farewell dinner.(Cycling distance – approx. 36km.)
Day 9	Ferry to the mainland. Transfer to Irkutsk. City tour. Overnight in a hotel
Day 10	Early morning transfer to the airport. Depart to Moscow. Arrival in Moscow. Transfer from the local airport to the international airport for the flight back home.

I can't think of any better way to see Lake Baikal than by hiking and bicycling my way up the shore. I had a great time, and I'm already planning my next trip -- it'll be to Kamchatka, for sure!
